Metally Flower | How did I start making stretched ear jewelry

Hi there!

I’m Daria, a Ukrainian jewelry designer and polymer clay artisan. So happy to have you here!

On my site, you’ll find unique jewelry for stretched ears, as well as regular earrings (if stretching isn’t your thing). Want something extra special? You can even request a custom order!

Just send me your color scheme, and I’ll craft ear plugs or earrings that perfectly match your dress or wedding/event theme. Before shipping, I’ll send you a preview photo for approval.

I ship worldwide with a tracking number and keep in touch throughout the process. If anything isn’t right, I accept returns, refunds, and replacements —just let me know, and I’ll make it right!

Orders take up to 10 days to create. Need it ASAP? Let me know your deadline, and I’ll prioritize your order.

Got questions? Feel free to reach out on Instagram, Facebook, or via email — I’d love to chat!

How did I start making gauged ears jewelry?

I’ve been creating polymer clay flowers since 2010, experimenting with different techniques and styles—from realistic botanical sculptures to bold tribal designs with skulls, bones, and horns.

But making jewelry for stretched ears? That’s where I truly found my passion. Why? Because coming up with something new in the world of regular jewelry is tough. But stretched lobes? They open up a whole new world of creative, unique, and unexpected designs!

I fell in love with tunnels, gauges, ear plugs, flower hangers—all of it. When I start thinking about new pieces, my imagination just takes off! I can sit down with a blank sheet of paper and sketch endless designs. If only I had more time to bring all my ideas to life for you, guys!

My Etsy Journey

I sold on Etsy from 2015 to 2024, but then I decided to delete everything and start from scratch. Sounds crazy? Maybe! But if you’re curious about what happened, head over to my Instagram, where I shared the full story.

No matter what, I’m beyond grateful for the amazing, vibrant community I’ve met along the way. Your reviews, selfies, and kind words have brought me so many smiles—it’s truly an honor to create for you!

How do I ship?

No need to worry about shipping safety — I use a discreet and reliable carrier that delivers packages to the USA in just 7–10 days. Some of my ready-to-ship items are already stored in a Minnesota (MN) warehouse, so they’ll arrive even faster!

Shipping to other countries is smooth as well. Despite the challenges of war, Ukrainian businesses work tirelessly to provide top-quality service, and our postal carriers are no exception.

For the last three years, every single package has arrived quickly and safely. But if anything ever gets lost, I’ll fully refund or replace your order at my expense—no stress, no worries!

What materials do I use for stretched ear jewelry?

All my flowers, leaves, horns, fangs, and other details are handcrafted from high-quality polymer clay Cernit (made in Belgium). This material is lightweight, slightly flexible, and usually hypoallergenic.

Out of nearly 5,000 customers, only one has ever reported an allergy to my jewelry! That said, I don’t recommend wearing polymer clay plugs or tunnels until your stretched ears are fully healed — better safe than sorry!

Who helps me?

I do it all — designing, sculpting, marketing, photography, social media, ads, and shipping — and honestly, I love every part of it. Being both an artist and entrepreneur is such a privilege!

Even when burnout hits, I still feel the pull to create—because this isn’t just my job, it’s my passion (and maybe even a little bit of an addiction).

So, who helps me? I’d say God… or the Universe, if you prefer. That’s where I find my inspiration and energy. And of course, you guys! Every day, I start and end with gratitude — for the chance to create, to share beauty, and to connect with people all over the world.
